Built in the first half of the 14th century, this was the private chapel of the Pignatelli di Toritto family, whose palace, commissioned by Cesare Pignatelli (1499), faces the nearby Nilo square. The church was restored in 1477 and again in 1736 and preserves frescoes by Neapolitan painter Fedele Fischetti (1772). Inside is a 16th-century chapel, which originally housed a Madonna col Bambino (Madonna and Child, 1515–17) by Bartolomé Ordóñez, now in the Capodimonte Museum.
